Your Daily Needs At The Click of A Mouse

Officially launched in 2019, Dei is a Singaporean online marketplace which hosts over 700 physical retailers based in Little India on their platform — bringing a myriad of their products like groceries and home essentials into the online realm for sale.

Dei — Daily Everything

Through this strategic partnership with a range of supermarkets, local wet markets, and their traditional vendor base, Dei has seemingly managed to expand its already impressive offerings to over 15,000 products. Some of the products on Dei range from canned goods to clothing to perishables like vegetables, fruits, and meat.

Using Dei, customers will be able to shop from the comfort of their abode and have their purchases delivered straight to their doorstep the very same day.

As for its founding, the team explained that the platform was initially created to promote digital transformation and to introduce new technologies to use by Little India’s oftentimes out-of-date merchant community. And the introduction of Dei will also allow retailers and merchants to enjoy greater access to the Singaporean community as a whole, as well as to increase their revenue by up to 30%.

Since its soft launch way back in 2016, Dei has experienced a massive 120% growth annually and has even peaked at an average daily order of 50 with an estimated total revenue of about $900,000.

As of now, Dei is still under negotiations with representatives from Chinatown and Kampong Glam which will hopefully allow them to expand into their respective precincts.
